Comedy and box-office queen Ai-Ai de las Alas has won the best actress award from the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS). Ai-ai received the award at the FAMAS Awards held last Saturday at the National Commission on Culture and Arts auditorium, becoming the first comedienne to receive the Best actress trophy since FAMAS was launched in 1952.
