Netanyahu, Iran and a Divided America: Perils of Division for America’s Future How Should We Respond to the Challenge?

I had watched with mounting dismay the rather unseemly spectacle leading up to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s much ballyhooed speech before the United States Congress early last week. Then yesterday (March 10) came the open letter sent directly to the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran by 47 Republican United States Senators. For me – perhaps also for you ? – these raised deep concerns about the state of our politics and our nation’s foreign policy-making. Continue reading

Brain pill: a hoax?

Alzheimer’s Disease is an ailment more dreaded and feared than most illnesses, including cancer. And four and a half years after Benigno “P-Noy” Aquino III was elected president on the crest of a campaign promise to end corruption, DA continues to be one of the most – if not the most – corrupt government agencies. Just because…

Just because it’s International Women’s History Month, I dared to fight the urge of giving in to my lazy, rationalizing streak and rushed to finish this article in time for our printer’s deadline. I thought it was time I delve into politics again, if only briefly, as doing so couldn’t be more suitable now when the networks are again buzzing with predictions, scrutiny and nitpicking the front liners in this 2016 presidential elections.
