THE WRITE CONNECTION – Yoly Tumangan Tubalinal was a professor of English and Literature at the University of Santo Tomas, College of Science before she resigned to accept a teaching job at Borno College of Basic Studies in Borno, Nigeria, where she stayed only for one (1) tour of duty.
Shortly after this stint, she and her family came to the U.S. and after working as sales associate at the college division of Harper Collins Publishers, she resigned to give newspaper publishing her full time attention. She is co-executive editor and co-publisher of FilAm Weekly MegaScene. She and her husband Bart have been publishing since 1991.
