Yolanda death toll now at 5,598, damage rises to P27.84 billion

TACLOBAN CITY (PinoyNews) — The death toll from super typhoon “Yolanda” (Haiyan) rose to almost 5,600 with 1,600 still missing while the cost of damage also went up to P27.839 billion. The number of destroyed houses has reached 1,168,106 including 580,481 destroyed and 587,625 damaged.
