  QUESTIONS OF FAITH

The Last Days

tycoThe biblical term “Last Days” refers to the Church Age. We are living in the Church Age or in the Grace Period. Paul says, the people of the Last Days are very wicked, full of evil, and very religious but lost. They claim, they are godly but their problem is they have a desperately wicked heart. Their lives prove their claim of faith is false. They profess they have a relationship with God but refuse to let God rule their lives. They deny the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and believe there are many ways in going to Heaven. The world will be filled with powerless and Christless religion. A religion that cannot save.

These are the characters of the Last Days. It is found in II Timothy 3:1-5, 7. “This know also that in the Last Days perilous times shall come. For they shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures, more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

It is not easy to live day by day with a lot of pushing and shoving with vicious people who do not even feel any guilt when they hurt you real bad. Why is this happening in our lifetime? Whether you can see it or not we are now living in the Last Days. We could feel to the bone the burning heat of Satan’s influence everywhere. His satanic power is becoming more and more intense every minute “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness, of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

The days of Satan is at hand. So he’s working overtime to grab a lot of people to go to the Lake of Fire to be with him there for all eternity.

Let’s go to the signs of Times and the End of the Age.

“Now as He (Jesus) sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these be? And what will be the sign of your coming, and the End of the Age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ’, and will deceive many.”

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the End is not yet.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew (24:3-8)

The Last Days and the popular term End Times or End of the Age are two different things.

The Last Days happens before the Rapture of the believers. There is no sign for the Rapture. It is imminent, it is ready to take place and it is at hand.

“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord cometh as a thief in the night,” (I Thessalonians 5:2)

The Rapture will occur before the seven year Tribulation Period. The Lord will escape the believers from the wrath of God on earth. “For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we live ever be with the Lord. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

And the End Times or End of the Age will take place during the seven year Tribulation Period. The unbelievers will be left behind and suffer the wrath of God on earth for rejecting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and Redeemer.

If you are not yet ready to meet the Lord Jesus Christ, will you accept Him today to be your Lord and Savior and Redeemer? His loving arms are wide open waiting for you.
