The End Times or End of the Age is not the End of the World. “And to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.” (Eph. 3:21)
The End Times is known as the Tribulation Time. No believer or saved person enters the Tribulation. Tribulation is the punishment of God to the people who rejected Jesus Christ as their Savior and Redeemer.
Jesus describes Tribulation as a time of distress, “such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no nor ever shall be.” (Matt. 24:21)
The flood judgment of God at Noah’s time drowned all the people who did not believe in God. Only Noah and his wife, his three sons and their wives survived in the flood. And the other divine judgment of God happened at Abraham’s time. The Sodom and Gomorrah was consumed by fire and brimstone. These catastrophes are just a pinch compared to the coming seven years Tribulation period.
The Anti-Christ will setup his false counterfeit one world religion, government and economy requiring worship of himself instead of God in fulfillment of prophesy. (Rev. 13:11-16)
It will be a time of great peace during the first half of the Tribulation Period. The Anti-Christ will pretend like Christ, he will promise peace, peace, peace and suddenly destruction comes at the mid-point of the Tribulation (at the end of the first 3 ½ years).
The second half of the Tribulation is called the Great Tribulation. The Anti-Christ rules over many nations. He will proclaim himself worthy of worship. Many people will be deceived. They bow down and worship the Anti-Christ. And also, many will refuse to worship the Anti-Christ and will be killed.
(Revelation 13:11-16)
11 “The Anti-Christ had two horns like a lamb and spakeas a dragon.
12 Exercise all the power and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship (first beast) whose deadly wound was healed.
13 He doeth great wonders so that he, maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of man.
14 And deceive them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast.
15 He had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all both small & great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in the right hand or on the forehead.
Many from every tribe, nation, language and people will be saved. But many of these will be martyred during the Tribulation (Revelation 6:9)
Also, many were blinded by the Anti-Christ and refused to repent and remain lost.
The challenge of the End Times: “Blessed is he that read, and they that hear the words of this prophesy, and keep those things which are written therein: For the time is at hand. (Revelation 1:3)
