P-Noy chops pork, keeps the bacon
LAST August 23, 2013, three days before the “Million People March” anti-pork barrel rally at the Rizal Park (Luneta), President Benigno “P-Noy” Aquino III, in a seemingly pre-emptive move, announced that its time to abolish the PDAF, the acronym for Priority Development Assistance Fund, or more commonly known as “pork barrel.” The rally, which was initiated by netizens, demanded for the abolition of pork barrel. The recently concluded Gintong Pamana Awards Night Gala last Saturday, August 24th at the Grand Ballroom of Hyatt Regency O’Hare was an awards gala event like no other. In the words of most attendees, awardees and their families and guests as well as the GP volunteers and crew, it was the best ever – fast paced, lively and classy! The food was great too! The TFC on demand IPTV set-up box and the TFC Premium Package, which includes, among others, ANC the news channel, Balitang Amerika and other news and public affairs program, were donated courtesy of TFC.
