Heart Evangelista back on primetime drama, mum on ties with Sen. Chiz

After the highly successful drama Legacy, Heart Evangelista’s next prime time show for GMA-7 is Luna Blanca.
“That’s right!” Heart told Joseph Peter R. Gonzales in a report.
 “I’ll be playing the adult Blanca. At this point, it’s Barbie Forteza who’s playing it and before her, it was child star Mona Louise Rey. This early, I’m excited. From what I heard, we will begin taping first week of September,” said Heart, who is being linked to Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
Any inkling as to who her love interest in the hit soap will be?
Heart’s has a ready answer. “Oh, I’ve no idea! But if given the chance to choose, I’ll go for Aljur (Abrenica)! We haven’t done a soap opera yet as screen partners. But we already did a movie, the remake of Temptation Island and we had chemistry. I hope GMA will consider the idea.”
While waiting for her official taping for Luna Blanca, the lovely lass gets herself busy with Party Pilipinas and being the guest segment host for24 Oras’ Chika Minute, reported Joseph Peter Gonzales in Manila Standard Today.
“And I must say that my stint with 24 Oras is so fun, exciting and enriching. Pinch-hitting for Pia (Guanio) is definitely a huge challenge. She’s doing great as Chika Minute’s host. I’m just happy and proud that I was able to make my own mark and received positive feedback from the viewers. Now, I’m enjoying it to the hilt!” added Heart.
Apart from her TV shows, the articulate actress will also start a movie soon.
“Yes, it’s under Viva Films. There are just revisions being made in the script as of now but as soon as it’s done, shooting will begin right away,” she said.
Heart has been linked lately to newly separated Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero. Are the rumors true? What’s the real score?
Heart was mum about the reports that romance is blossoming between the two of them.
However, she has a ready answer to the speculations: “Well, we’re close. That’s all I can say,” she said.
Heart added: “ We can discuss various topics under the sun. It doesn’t mean that when you’re seen in public with someone, you two are already an item. That’s totally premature.”
After her break-up with Daniel Matsunaga, Heart revealed she doesn’t really exert efforts to meet other guys or entertain suitors right away.
“I’m not in a hurry to jump into a new relationship. It’s better to take things one step at a time. One day, I’m certain that true love will fall on my lap,” she said.
