ShareThisOoops, there is no engagement, much less marriage for actress Shaina Magdayao and actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Singer-actress Vina Morales, elder sister of Shaina, insisted on this as she dispelled engagement and even marriage rumors on her and the actor.
“It’s not true,” Vina proclaimed.
“They are not engaged and yung mga lumalabas na they recently got married, ang babata pa nila,” she added.
“Ako muna no!” Vina jokingly said, referring to wedding, before her younger sister ties the not.
She said Shaina and John Lloyd are both too young to get married.
Both are focused on their careers. Both are in the stable of ABS-CBN.
She said that when the right time comes for marriage, she and her entire family will be there to support Shaina.
Shaina and John Lloyd reportedly tied the knot during their tour of Europe last month.
It was reported that John Lloyd asked for Shaina’s hands during the Europe tour and the actress reportedly accepted.
While Vina denied the reported engagement and marriage of her sister and the matinee idol, she acknowledged that both have good relationship.
“I am happy for them,” she said.
Vina said that her family is happy with John Lloyd’s treatment of her sister because Shaina “seems very happy these days.”
“Happy kami kasi silang dalawa eh happy naman. Nakikita ko naman kung paano tinatrato ni John Lloyd yung sister ko,” Vina said.
She added: “I could see how much he loves my sister kaya kaming pamilya ni Shaina eh wala kaming masabi kundi all good things to him and to his family.”
