Derek Ramsay is still ‘married’ to a model

Actor Derek Ramsay has reportedly ill feelings  about his mother studio, ABS-CBN.

The reason: His alleged marriage to a model was exposed by the network last June 22.

And because of the “expose,” he was reported to be thinking about moving to another network.

The network actually did not identify Derek in the report although it  even showed what was supposed to be the marriage contract of Derek with the model, identified to have Filipino-Indian roots.

Derek has been ambivalent about the reports – he has not admitted it and he has not refuted it.

Reports have it that Derek married the Fil-Indian girl many years ago – ten years ago or so.

Derek, who later was linked to Solenn Heussaff, and the model reportedly had separated because their partnership did not work.

It was gathered that the model has since lived abroad.

The trouble is their marriage is still official, because Derek and the girl have not secured annulment of the marriage.

Thus, Derek and the girl are officially still married with each other, although they separated long time ago and Derek has his new partner, actress Angelica Panganiban.

Angelica is reportedly not bothered at all about the reports on Derek’s marriage.

Angelica has been very protective of her relationship with the hulky actor. This attitude got her  into a tiff with actress Gretchen Barretto.

Angelica has since reconciled with Gretchen, but now he is being linked with Erich Gonzales, who Angelica unabashedly admitted she suspected of trying to snatch her beau.

Derek has said before that he was not the marrying type, but he later retracted this.

He has not also come out openly to refute his alleged marriage years ago with the Filipino-India model, triggering suspicions in showbiz that the allegation might be true after all.

Despite reports that Derek was planning now to move to another network, it was gathered that his shows with  ABS-CBN and Star Cinema will go on.
These shows include a movie for  Star Cinema with  Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes, his co-stars in  Private Benjamin, a co-production of Star Cinema and Viva Films.

Also, he has an ongoing show, the The Biggest Loser.
