ShareThisA new rumor has surfaced involving the United States-based superstar Nora Aunor.
It was reported that the superstar was supposed to fly back to Manila last week to serve as one of the judges in a television talent show, but she was a no show last March 11.
The rumor on La Aunor was a subject of discussion of the hosts of TV 5 showbiz program “Paparazzi.” The hosts are actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez, DJ Mo Twister, columnists Dolly Ann Carvajal and Cristy Fermin.
Mo Twister broke the ice on La Aunor as he identified the TV 5 program as the top-rating “Talentadong Pinoy” which had its finals last March 11.
“ Of course, ‘Talentadong Pinoy’ dapat magja-judge si Nora Aunor [pero] hindi nakarating, dapat Friday,” Mo said.
He added: “I think nahuli siya yata or may nakakita sa kanya [na] nagca-casino sa may Vancouver, Canada sa Rock River Casino.”
Co-host Cristy Fermin continued the story, saying she had the story checked and said that it was confirmed by her friends.
“May nagkwento sa akin ng gano’n, text lang. Eh alam mo naman siguro abot-kamay natin ang mga ganyang lugar dahil madalas tayo do’n. Pina-check namin sa tatlong kaibigan,” Cristy said.
Cristy moved on to state: “Totoong nasa Rock River Casino siya [Aunor] at ‘yung isang kaibigan ko na nag-grocery nakita siya, magkatabi daw yun[g dalawang lugar]. Lumipas lang ang magdamag, inihatid na niya [kaibigan] ang kanyang anak kinabukasan sa eskwela. Nandun pa rin si Nora at ‘yun pa rin ang suot na damit,”
Host-columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal stated there was another version about La Aunor’s failed visit to Manila. “May isang version, nagkasakit naman daw kaya hindi siya umuuwi?” she said.
“‘Yun ang sinabi…tumawag siya na nagkasakit daw siya. Nag-therapy daw siya sa Vancouver. Pagbalik daw niya ng LA, inaapoy na siya ng lagnat,” she said.
Ruffa Gutierrez ended the discussion by saying, “But one thing’s certain: kahit wala si Superstar Nora Aunor, talagang Superstar siya kasi hanggang ngayon pinag-uusapan pa rin siya.”
So when will La Aunor really be back in Manila?
