Actress Lovi Poe will turn 21 on Valentine’s Day and from the looks of it, she’ll celebrate alone.
The daughter of the late Movie King Fernando Poe Jr. was rushed last week to the St. Lukes Hospital and Medical Center in Quezon City due to high fever and coughs.
And to her surprise, actor Richard Gutierrez visited her together with director Dom Zapata.
She said she will be alone at home on her birthday which happens to be Valentine’s Day also.
She said she has decided not to celebrate her birthday this year, but refused to disclose why.
Will she not fly to Hong Kong and see her “boyfriend” the embattled Ilocos Sur Rep. Ronald Singson there?
All indications are she will not go to Hong Kong as she kept mum on the illegal drugs case of the congressman.
She appeared mum also on the real score on their relationship.
Earlier, Singson blamed a spat with Lovi as one of the reasons he went into drugs when he went to Hong Kong and was caught there with 6 grams of cocaine.
Singson later admitted in court that he has been into drugs and is now awaiting sentencing by the Hong Kong court.
“I don’t wanna share anything about that topic anymore,” Lovi said on her reported spat with the Ilocos Sur lawmaker.
“ It’s too personal and too sensitive na kasi,” she added in an interview with GMA News.
She said she is very happy that she has been busy with television and movie projects like “My Valentine Girls” in which she co-stars with Rhian Ramos, Solenn Heussaff, and Eugene Domingo with Richard Gutierrez as their partner.
She said bonding with her co-stars was a big help because they are all happy people.
“They are very fun to be with and its like you need a good support system around you,” she said.
