Luis has broken up with girlfriend Angel Locsin and there has not been much talk about his current beau.
Luis is proud with a new baby, though. It’s his new house in Green Meadows, Quezon City.
The young actor showed off to members of the entertainment press the photos of his new house during the presscon of “Who’s that Girl.”
Actually, the house is their old family residence with his mother, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, and it was given it to him, reported columnist Ethel Ramos.
“Hati sila ng mom niya,” said Luis’ talent manager, June Torrejon, “sa gastos sa pagpapa-renovate. Pero sa furnishings and décor ng bahay, siya na ang bahala.”
Right now, Luis said he is staying at the plush condo unit of his dad, Edu Manzano, in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Contrary to his dad’s claim, Luis said he is paying for his own electricity and the monthly bill of his telephone.
Luis and his father Edu Manzano were together when they attended the formal opening of the Adrian Manzano Cancer Wing (AMCW) of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
This new wing is a donation of Edu who said that he decided to name it after his father, because when the old Manzano was still alive, he loved helping children and was active with charity work.
June, who is also the talent manager of Edu, said the cost, more or less, is a cool P1 million.
