Actress Anne Curtis has reported that she lost a $600 ring which she inadvertently left in her airplane seat from a flight she took from Hong Kong to Manila.
Curtis arrived from Hong Kong late Monday evening aboard Cathay Airways flight CX905.
The actress was already at the arrival lobby when she remembered the ring which was inside a small gift bag which she left on her seat.
Curtis asked the Cathay Pacific personnel to retrieve the bag for her which they found later. However, upon inspection, Curtis discovered someone had taken the ring from the box.
Curtis described the ring as a David Yurman Amethyst ring which she bought in Hong Kong for $600.
The actress disclosed the only thing they found inside the bag was the jewelry box for the ring.
The airline management ordered an investigation on how the ring went missing.
Insiders believe aircraft cleaners could be the culprit as passengers do not have the time to go through the belongings of others as everyone is rushing to disembark from the aircraft.
