ShareThisPASAY CITY – Only one bettor won Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s (PCSO) Grand Lotto 6/55 record top prize of P741,176,323.
It was a one-to-29 million chance of winning the jackpot, the highest in the country’s on-lottery games.
The winner will now go down in the record books as the bettor who defied near impossible odds to win the richest prize ever in PCSO on-line lotteries.
Liza Gabuyo, acting assistant general manager for PCSO-On-Line Lottery Department (PCSO-OLLD), said the lone bettor correctly guessed the six winning numbers: 11 – 16 – 42 – 47 – 31 – 37.
“We are very happy that there is a winner tonight. It was about time. It has been our wish in the PCSO,” said Gabuyo after the 86th draw of Grand Lotto, which will now start with minimum P30 million.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa mga tumatangkilik at sana patuloy silang tumangkilik sa ibang PCSO products (We thank the patrons of Grand Lotto and we hope they continue to patronize other PCSO products),” said Gabuyo.
She added that 53 bettors guessed five numbers correctly and will get P150,000 each, 3,967 have four correct numbers for P2,000 prize each, and 99,541 got three right numbers for P150 each.
