Is the superstar Nora Aunor coming home this Christmas?
This question is being asked by her fans after reports surfaced that she is finally going home.

Nora Aunor
It turns out everything seem to be mere speculations as even her children do not know the real score about her supposed return to Manila.
Top columnist Mario Bautista wrote about the speculations in her column, stating that November is almost ending and there is still no news – official that is – on Nora’s coming home after six years in self exile in the United States.
There was an announcement from Nora herself earlier that she was going home last year, but when she was about to, she first had an aesthetic operation in Japan. It turned out that the operation went awry as she lost her voice in the process, and up to know she could not sing and talk as she used to.
The columnist reported that “Showbiz Central” interviewed Nora’s daughter Matet de Leon and she said that she heard about her mom’s homecoming only on TV.
“There’s nothing definite about it,” Matet was quoted as saying in the interview.
Is it true Nora now works as a caregiver in the US? Matet was asked.
Nora’s daughter had a ready answer: “Noon pa ‘yang ganyang mga balita, nagtitinda pa raw siya ng kubyertos. O, ano naman ngayon?”
Nora’s former co-host in “Superstar,” German Moreno, more popularly known as Kuya Germs, said it could be someone saw Nora taking care of her good friend, Sajid Khan, who’s now sick, and quickly concluded she’s now working as a caregiver.
Kuya Germs said Nora may surprise her family, friends and fans.
Kuya Germs said: “Sabi niya, sosorpresahin niya tayo. Pero mas madadali kung may mag-i-sponsor ng kanyang plane ticket at ng board and lodging niya rito.”
Mario Bautista said he was suggesting that Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos who earlier said she’s eager to see her “kumare,” shoulder the plane fare of Nora and offer her to stay for free in one of her houses.
“ Wouldn’t that be the kindest gesture anyone can do for a former rival?” he asked.
