In fact, he gave an almost blow-by-blow account last Monday of his successful heart surgery, according to his mother network.

Kim, who is also “Showtime” co-host, expressed in his Twitter account his happiness on the success of the operation, ABS-CBN reported.

“Tweeps God is good!!! I am in ICU for the night, operation is 100 percent success! My hole is officially patched. My whole heart is for Christ to come in,” he posted on his Twitter.

He said his operation which lasted for three hours was undertaken by Dr. Jonas del Rosario (surgeon), Dr. Gary Lopez (cardio) and Dr. Anna Nolido (neuro).

According to Atienza, he underwent a transesophagial echo operation to locate the hole in his heart and had an amplatzer device placed in his blood vessel.

Despite his condition, a strong Kuya Kim amazed the public as he continued answering questions from his fans, the network stated.

“I am resting in ICU, walang TV dito, iPad is all I can do,” he added.
