Kristine Reyes and Luis Manzano team up in ‘Wansapanataym’s Kokak’

The high-rating fantasy-drama anthology ‘Wansapanataym’ on The Filipino Channel (TFC) offers its viewers a fresh tandem as Cristine Reyes and Luis Manzano team up in Ruben Marcelino’s ‘Kokak’.

Earning a 30.1 Philippine national rating last Saturday (October 23), according to Kantar Media, ‘Wansapanataym’ begins a new story to continue its lead.

A whole new spell will fall on every home as the enchanting Kara (Cristine) lures each one closer to his/her TV screen. Kara is a beautiful woman who lives in the forest. While trapped by a curse—every time she bleeds, she turns into a frog— she crosses paths with a man (Luis) who will fall in love with her. Will the curse hinder them from loving each other?

“Ito po ang first Wansapanataym episode ko kaya masayang-masaya po ako. Kakaiba rin kasi yung karakter ko dito, may hiwaga talaga (laughs),” Cristine quipped. She added that she enjoyed working with Luis, “Naku, tawa lang ako nang tawa kay Luis. Masaya kasi siya kasama sa set.”
