MANILA – Megastar Sharon Cuneta has lost more than 20 pounds and she won’t say how she did it——at least not yet.
“Soon… I will show you how…on a billboard,” said she gleefully on “The Buzz,” Oct. 10.
The only secret Cuneta shared about losing weight is to cut down on food intake, said Neil Ramos in a report.
“Just tell yourself na lahat ‘yan [food], naandiyan pa yan pagpayat mo,” Sharon said.
The megastar doesn’t recommend starvation for those trying to shed pounds, according to the report.
“The minute you deprive yourself, you will binge and you’re not going to lose the fat, you’re losing water.
“Bawas lang [food]…at maybe once week, kainin mo gusto mo. Pero kain ha hindi banat. ‘Yong gagamitin mo kutsara hindi pala, plato hindi bandehado,” she joked.
Another suggestion Cuneta shared is to eat less rice.
“Eto, pinakamadali, painless halos, eat all the ulam you want but tanggalin mo muna ang kanin. Eto, slow but sure,” she advised.
The actress basked in seeming mock satisfaction when Abunda mentioned that Gabby Concepcion, Cuneta’s ex-husband, has supposedly commented on her slimmer figure.
“I think he’s regretting,” said she with a laugh, adding, “Talagang may malisya pa rin. Kaya ayoko muna mag-movie with him eh.”
