Word Of Grace Int’l Ministries Celebrates 7th Year Anniversary


On September 11, as the nation commemorated a day of remembrance and reflection for what happened on September 11, 2001 – the Word of Grace International Ministries of the Christian & Missionary Alliance celebrated its 7th year anniversary. The occasion marked also the completion of its first season of 7 years and entering a brand new season of ministry as it journeys into the future. WOG has its Worship Center and Ministry Headquarters located at 3901 N Whipple Ave., Chicago.

The event was also a send off for Dr. Richard & Mrs. Lillian Mirpuri – Founding Pastor and Spiritual Director of the Word of Grace who are scheduled to leave for their annual ministry visit to the Philippines to minister among their daughter churches there. Dr. Mirpuri will also be conducting pastors’ conferences in Bacolod and Zamboanga cities. The Word of Grace has become a local church in Chicago with a global imprint having ministries both in the U.S. and in the Philippines.
The special guests and speaker at the anniversary event which was held at the Holiday Inn North Shore in Skokie were Rev. Jon and Mrs. Kathie Rich. Rev. Rich is the District Superintendent of the Midwest District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance under whose jurisdiction the ministry of the Word of Grace falls. Ms. Lillian Pada, Directress for the Alliance Women’s Fellowship of the Alliance Filipino Churches in the U.S. who is based in Lubbock, Texas also joined the celebration.
