Lovi Poe continues support to Ronald Singson

Sept 3, 2010

Comely actress Lovi Poe continues to support her rumored-boyfriend Ilocos Sur congressman Ronald Singson despite his drugrelated case in Hong Kong. The young actressdaughter of the late Movie King and national artist Fernando Poe Jr., in fact, joined Ilocos Gov. Luis “Chavit” Singson when he visited the lawmaker during the hearing of his case in Hong Kong.

During that hearing, the young Singson was granted HK$2 million bail and subsequently has been released from prison. He, however, has to report regularly to the HK police until there is final decision on his case. Lovi said she never had hesitation or doubt when she visited the lawmaker.

“Pag malapit sa puso ko talagang aalagaan ko. I’m really blessed din na yung tao sa paligid nya, nagsusuporta din, not just me,” she said. “People may say anything but whatever it is in my heart, I will just follow it because its right most of the time,” she added in a Sunstar report of Gaiza Sayoc. The young actress said she was hopeful that the hostage crisis in Quirino Grandstand would not affect the case of Singson.

“Hindi naman makikitid yung utak ng tao ngayon kaya tiwala naman ako na hindi maiiwasan,” she said. Lovi is working with actor Mark Anthony Fernandez on “Love Bug” only on GMA-7.
