Popular actor Dingdong Dantes has renewed his exclusive network contract with the GMA network. Dantes said he was happy for his new deal with the network, adding he was excited with his coming shows in the top network.
Asked about his perceived rivalry with actor Richard Gutierrez, also a leading actor of the GMA Network, Dingdong said he has nothing but respect for the actor. “Yung word na magkaribal, medyo nasa negative site. We respect each others expertise but it all boils down to us being part of one network,” Dingdong said.The matinee idol admitted talks abound that he and sweetheart Marian Rivera, another big star of GMA network, are settling down. The handsome actor, however, pointed out that he and Marian are “just waiting for the right time.”
He said there are no immediate plans for marriage, because they are concentrating on their respective careers. He said that their relationship is perfect and pointed out that they are very strong. “One thing that I’m proud of is yung nagbibigayan kami sa isa’t-isa,” he said. “Sa ngayon, sa amin na lang muna yun,” he said.
