KC says she and Piolo are not ‘on,’ denies going on Subic trips to see him

Are they or are they not? Showbiz fans and observers are asking the question referring to romance allegedly brewing between popular actress and television host KC Concepcion and top actor Piolo Pascual. In fact, KC, the daughter of mega star Sharon Cuneta and actor Gabby Concepcion, was reported to even going out of her way just to see Piolo in Subic.

The report stated KC has been driving to Subic, two to three hours away from Manila, just to visit Piolo on the set of his new ABS-CBN television series “Noah.” Of course, that is not true, the young actress stressed on television. “Eto na lang po, no. Medyo two weeks ko na pong sinasabing no, hindi po ako dumadalaw sa Subic. Nowhere near Subic do I go, as in. Sabi ko nga it’s three hours away, three hours back…” she tressed.
“Pero sinasabi ko lang po ‘yun, because, why do I need to go to Subic to be with good company?” she explained. “I see him often here. And pine-press ako ng press… Pinipilit ng ibang tao na sagutin ko in a way
na gusto nilang marinig.”

She said there was really no point in denying anything. “Nakakatawa dahil ano naman po na aminin or sabihin ko sa inyo na, opo pinagbigyan ko naman po si PJ or pinagbigyan ko rin naman si direk Malou or si Lino, na
mga direktor ng ‘Noah,’ na pumunta ako sa set, if totoo. Ano ba naman ang sabihin ko sa inyo, ‘Yes nagpunta ako.’ Pero hindi eh, hindi po talaga ako dumadalaw sa set ng ‘Noah’.” The rumor was apparently fuelled by a statement of Piolo’s co-star, the eightyear-old Zaijan Jaranilla, who was apparently quoted or misquoted that KC had visited Piolo on their set. Piolo himself denied the reported visit by KC in Subic. “Nagbibiro lang ‘yung
si Zaijian… may kasunod yon, ‘Joke joke joke!’ At napaka-busy din naman ni Kristina para dalawin pa ako sa Subic,” he said.

“Hindi po talaga ako dumadalaw… [But there’s] nothing wrong with it. If dumalaw ako one day, I will let you know. Iku-kwento ko kung anong nangyari dun,” KC said. But are they or are they not? KC had a ready answer: “Wala pa naman po sa love… Siguro hahayaan ko siyang [Piolo] magsalita, but he has been very
persistent about visiting me. And we’re closer than ever.” “I have never denied anything when it comes to
Piolo. I have to make that clear…,” she said. Well, watch out for developments.
