  QUESTIONS OF FAITH

Heaven or the Lake of Fire, where do you want to go?

tycoHow can we truly tell where we are bound to go when we die?

Our life is a gift of God. God created us in His own image, in His own likeness and with His own breath. He breathed into our nostrils the breath of life and we became a living soul.God is eternal and so our soul is eternal.
But our old clay
bodies will go back to dust because we will not live on earth forever.

“It is appointed unto man once to die after this is judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)
We will all stand condemned before God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
We are all sinners, by birth, by nature by practice and because of the imputed sin from Adam. God loves us but He hates sin so He hath made His Son Jesus Christ to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
God provided a way out of the condemnation of sin through the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary because of his unconditional love for us. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

God created us with a purpose. We will live on earth temporarily then we will go to our eternal destination. There are two eternal destinations. Heaven or hell, there is no in between. God gave us free will to choosewhere we are going to spend our eternity. God is patiently waiting for us to repent for our sins and surrender to Him and ask Him to be our Lord and Savior and Redeemer, so that we will not perish for all eternity.

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us – ward, not willing that any should perish but all shall come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

God holds our next breath. The clock is ticking and while our heart is still beating, why don’t we make a decision now. Tomorrow might be too late. If we lose our chance now, there is no second chance after death.

Receiving and rejecting our Lord Jesus Christ will determine our eternal destiny. The only “judgment” for the believers is at the Judgment Seat of Christ where their works are measured for the purpose of rewards.
“There is therefore no more condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
And the Bible says “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying. “Behold the tabernacle of God is with men and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people.

God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelations 22:1-4)

And now comes the judgment of the unsaved or unbelievers. They are judged and remain condemned because they have rejected the LordJesus Christ and their names are not written in the Book of Life.
And I saw a Great White Throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which are in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. The eternal death and eternal separation from God.
And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelations 20:11-15)

Jesus loves you and He wants to save you if you will only accept Him.
“But whosoever shall deny me before men him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:33
