PASAY CITY — Filipino American Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton was scheduled to have her debut game in Mix Martial Arts (MMA) on May 2 at SM, Mall of Asia (MOA) arena.
According to Julaton, it is the right time to change her career, from boxing to MMA.
Also, she expressed how overwhelmed and grateful she is, with all the support she is receiving from her Filipino fans.
“I’m a woman, in a male dominated sport. It’s not easy. But I’m very thankful to the Philippines with all the support I’m receiving,” she said.
In addition, she said that she has “the heart and mentality of a warrior, which is potent to win, and this characteristic is an authentic Filipimo trademark.”
Julaton expressed confidence that she will win the fight because she is doing her best.
“To inspire other women out there, I will do my best to win this fight. I know, with the support I’m receiving, I can win this fight,” she ended.
