Actress and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto for president?
Why not?
The lady governor wife of Senator Ralph Recto acknowledged that some some sectors have been urging her to run for President  in the next national elections in 2016.
But she has a ready answer to those initiating a campaign for her to gun for the highest office of the land.
“That has not even entered my mind,” said the famous actress, once dubbed the Star of All Seasons.

There are, however, reports that she may yet slid down to the number two post, the Vice Presidency.
It was gathered earlier that the actress, who is on here second term as Batangas governor after serving for three terms as Lipa City mayor, that  the Star for all Seasons has expressed interest in the Vice Presidency. There was no confirmation nor denial on the report.
There are those who are egging her also to run for congressman or senator but she has not commented at all on the plan.
Those who are pushing for her to run for higher office pointed out that Governor Vilma’s experience as a public servant, plus her untarnished record and sterling performance and her  immense popularity will work well for her candidancy.
With the scandals  that are rocking  the nation, the pork barrel scam on top of the list now, Governor Vilma may yet be seriously thinking her options to run.
