Ai Ai delas Alas seeks protection from Jed

Actress Ai Ai delas Alas has asked the Quezon City Regional Trial Court to issue a protection order against the actress’ estranged husband, Jed Salang.
If the court grants the order, Salang would no longer be able to get 100 to 500 meters near Delas Alas, her children, and  even the actress’ house helpers.  
The order would also prohibit Salang from talking to his wife and discussing the case with the media.  This would also protect Delas Alas from reports allegedly from Salang’s camp that the actress is a sex addict.
It was gathered that the top comedienne may also file charges against Salang for allegedl violation of Republic Act 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children.

After only 29 days living as husband and wife following a wedding in Las Vegas, Delas Alas confirmed in pulbic through ABS=CBN show of Boy Abunda that she had separated from Salang, 28, on May 2.
Delas Alas characterized her relationship with Salang as one marred by her husband’s propensity for gambling, infidelity and physical violence, all of which she claimed she tried to hide from the public, including her own children.
In an interview on The Buzz, the actress said: ”Maski mukha niya, hindi ko na kayang makita. (I can’t stand to see his face).”
Also, the actress revealed that she actually believes now that Jed never loved her.
Ai Ai and Jed were married only last April 3 in civil rites in Las Vegas, Nevada after more than one year of living together. The rites were witnessed by Ai Ai’s children and even her former husband. Ai Ai then said Jed was the man she wanted to live with up to the sunset of her life.
She admitted also that she even gifted Jed with his dream car, a Porsche.
It was gathered that Ai Ai was suprised later to find out that Jed  got a P150,000 commission from the sale of the expensive car which later on was returned to her by Jed’s father.
She admitted to coming to her senses after supposedly suffering physical maltreatment from him, as well as “confirming” his allegedly questionable intentions for getting into a relationship with her.
She revealed Jed had actually physically hurt and abused her.
On the day of their separation, the actress-singer said Jed wanted to celebrate their “monthsary” with a three-day-stay in a hotel casino, but she refused, saying she would not want to go to a casino anymore.
 “Sabi ko, ayoko, hindi naman healthy ‘yung mag-casino lalo na para sa’kin. Makikita ko roon ng tao. Sabi ko, sa bahay na lang kami,” she recounted.
Ai Ai said Jed got angry. “Nagalit siya,” she said.
Ai Ai said she was surprised at Jed’s actions. “Feeling ko kabibigay ko pa lang nung dream niya eh… binigyan ko siya ng kotse… Parang pakiramdam ko, ano pa ba ang magagawa mo sa’kin habang ako lahat naibigay ko na sa iyo?”
She admitted that everytime they quarrelled, it ended on physical fight. “ Tuwing nag-aaway kami, physical fight,” she added.” Lumalaban ako. Ang laki niya. Hinahagis ako sa kama, sampalan, bunuan. Noong hinila niya ko sa sahig at kinaladkad ako, na-realize ko, ‘di ko na ‘to kaya. Kabibigay ko lang sa kanya ng dream car niya.”
The actress-singer admitted she hid all the “bad sides” of their relationship, but she could not take what happened on May 2.
Apparently blinded by her immense love for him, she said she kept the ugly parts of their relationship hidden from people.
“Mahal ko si Jed… Siyempre naman, ’di ba, dream ko magkaro’n ng asawa; akala ko siya ’yung bigay sa akin. Siyempre tao lang naman ako, nagkakamali ako. Hindi ko naman alam na magiging ganun,” said the award-winning actress.
“Akala ko nakilala ko na siya eh. Hindi pa pala. Akala ko ’yung isang taon at three months (na nakasama ko siya) akala ko kilala ko na siya,” she confessed.
“Tinago ko ‘yung lahat ng pangit sa pagsasama namin,” she said. “Kasi gusto kong mabuhay na parang fairy tale na masaya kami, kasi yun ang gusto kong mangyari sa’ming dalawa. Pero nung May 2, hindi ko na kinaya. Gusto ko lang na may kasama sa buhay, may kausap, ‘yung may magmamahal sa’yo, kasi malalaki na ang mga bata.”
Ai Ai said she was ashamed to admit in public what had happened to her and Jed, but had to do it. And she immediately drew the sympathy of her many friends, supporters and legions of fans.
 ” Nahihiya akong amining hindi ganun ang nangyari sa’min. Pinoproteksiyunan ko si Jed. Ayokong makita ng mga anak kong nasasaktan ako,” she said.
According to columnist Mario Bautista, early in their relationship, someone already warned Ai Ai about Jed’s real intentions.
 She said:“May balak daw si Jed. Papatulan lang ako dahil sa (she can’t say the word and we can just surmise it’s ‘pera’). Pag nagawa na niya yung gusto niya, iiwanan niya na ako at may pakikisamahan siyang iba. ‘Yung ex niya. Akala ko, siya ang bigay ng Diyos sa’kin. Pero na-confirm ko, pati sarili ko niloloko ko lang na masaya ako.”
She said believed his friend’s warning because “from the very beginning, ramdam ko naman ‘yon. Kaya lang natatakot ako sa totoo, and natatakot ako na ’pag nalaman ko ’yung totoo, sobrang sakit.”
Ai Ai broke down and was crying all throughout the interview with Boy Abunda.
She also confirmed there was a third party involved. Although she did not identify Jed’s girlfriend, it was gathered later that the girl herself told her about everything about her and Jed.
Ai Ai added: “At least ngayon, ‘di ko na niloloko ang sarili ko. ‘Yung pagmamahal ko sa kanya, napalitan ng galit at pagtataka kung paano niya nagawa lahat ng ginawa niya sa’kin. Pinuntahan niya ako sa salon para kausapin, pero may trauma na ko sa kanya. Maski mukha niya, hindi ko na kayang makita. Alam ni God lahat ng pinagdaanan ko. ‘Yung pagkatao niya, akala ko kilala ko na, pero ngayon ko lang talaga nakilala.”
In the show, Boy asked Ai Ai if Jed loved her. 
“Sa lahat ng nalaman ko, sa tingin ko, hindi. Kahit kailan, hindi,” she sobbed uncontrollably.
With the developments, Ai Ai said sorry to her kids. “Dapat, sapat na ‘yung pagmamahal namin sa isa’t isa. Kami-kami na lang. Sa lahat ng nagmamahal sa’kin, pagpasensiyahan nyo na ako. Tao lang akong nagmahal. Lahat ng babae, ‘yun lang ang pangarap, ang makasal.”
Interviewed later, Ai Ai said she has sought the assistance of her lawyers to file divorce in the U.S.
 “’Yung divorce, ‘yung legalities, ang lawyer ko na ang bahala diyan,” she said.
Mario Bautista also quoted Ai Ai saying that she has nothing more to say about Jed. “Wala na akong sasabihin sa kanya. Basta ayoko na siyang makita (I have nothing more to say to him. For sure, I don’t want to see him again),” she stressed.
Though suffering, Ai Ai said she was grateful to have gotten out of the relationship this early.
Ai Ai’s eldest son Sancho was apparently angry at Jed after her mother’s revelations.
In her Instagram account, Ai Ai thanked all those who supported her.
She wrote: “Maraming salamat po Panginoon… at sa buong sambayanang Pilipino dito man at sa lahat ng sulok ng mundo… Thank you po sa dasal, suporta at pagmamahal ninyo. .. God bless everyone.”
