Cesar Montano admits marital problems with Sunshine Cruz

Finally, veteran actor-director Cesar Montano admitted that he and his wife Sunshine Cruz have marital problems.
But the relationship is not about to end – not yet, he said.
“We are not about to give up each other,” the actor said as he pointed out that he and his wife are currently trying to fix things in their marriage.
Cesar said he is doing everything to save his marriage with Sunshine with whom he has two children.
“I love my family and I will not do anything to destroy my family. I want my children to grow up with us,” he said.
Cesar admitted that the quarrel is common and normal among married couple.
The actor-director made the revelation following a controversy involving an upcoming actress who happened to be one of the stars in his new movie,  ”The Turning Cradle: The Untold Story of Alfredo Lim.”
“May problema to be quite honest. Hindi totoong walang problema,” Cesar said during a press conference on his new movie.
The couple’s latest marital woe  started after Sunshine discovered that some of her gifts to her husband were in the hands of starlet Krista Miller.
Miller portrays Marita Zaragoza in the new film directed by and starring Cesar, “The Turning Cradle: The Untold Story of Alfredo Lim.”
During the controversy, Cesar left their house and moved to Manila Hotel for several days “to cool off.”
Cesar stressed that there is no perfect marriage.” Lahat naman nagkakaroon ng problema,” he said.
The actor, according to an ABS-CBN report, said it has not been easy for him to work and worry about this problem at the same time.
“Well, to be quite honest, naapektuhan ako pero talagang pinili ko to get fixated dito sa pelikula.
According to an ABS-CBN report, Cesar said he tried not to entertain intrigues while doing the film so as not to affect his work.
I cannot afford to divide my attention para ilagay doon para lang gumulo,” he said.
According to talent manager Alfie Lorenzo, it was the couple’s daughters who found out about Miller after they saw a text message from the starlet to her father.
Tapos ‘yung ending daw (ng text message), ‘Miss you, babes, love you, babes,’ ganun. Kinwento sa nanay,” Lorenzo narrated to ABS-CBN.
Sunshine then confronted Cesar about Miller.
Sunshine was reported to have hired lawyer  Bonifacio Alentajan to handle a possible petition for legal separation, but the actress denied she was planning to divorce the actor.
