Yes, said top actor John Lloyd Cruz as he admitted for the first time his romance with actress Angelica Panganiban.
Angelica, on the other hand, appeared of her new ties, showing off even her house to close friends in the company of John Lloyd and a diamond ring he may have gifted her.
And Angelica has also even come out with a song she composed for him.
TV5’s InterAksyon reported on the song for John Lloyd, quoting a long-time confidante of the actress, director Dante Nico “Ga” Garcia, who shared to selected members of the media the lyrics to the song, titled “Barcelona”.
Angelica wrote the song earlier this year during a trip to the Spanish city with other Star Magic artists not including John Lloyd, it was reported.
“Angelica wrote the song daw isang araw na bored na bored siya dun sa Barcelona. She went into a café. Nagmumuni-muni. At habang may naiisip siya, sulat naman siya nang sulat sa napkins dun sa table,” Direk Ga said.
While filming Direk Ga’s indie film “Mahabang Gabi, Madaling Araw,” Angelica told her friend and co-star Glaiza de Castro about the song, and Glaiza proceeded to set the lyrics to music.
The composition is now Angelica and John Lloyd’s theme song, InterAksyon reported.
Direk Ga revealed that John Lloyd plans to serenade Angelica with the song on her birthday on November 4, either on “ASAP” or on her gag show “Banana Split.”

John Lloyd made the admission about his relationship with the comely actress in an interview with Boy Abunda on his home network ABS-CBN and program “The Buzz”
John Lloyd even described his new relationship “beyond happiness” in the interview with Boy Abunda.
The interview which was posted on ABS-CBN website revealed he did not expect the relationship.
“It’s something na hindi namin ine-expect. Parang bigla na lang saan galing ito, saan galing iyon? Suddenly it’s magic. But seriously, iyon talaga ang nagyari,” he said.
John Lloyd told the network he has known Angelica for the longest time until that day came when he saw the actress in a different light.
According to the actor, he finally admitted that they are in a relationship since many people have been asking them.
“Wala naman kaming tinatago, wala naman kaming dapat pagtaguan or paglihiman. Hindi naman kami para umiwas sa tanong. Kung may nagtanong, opo kami po,” he said.
John Lloyd, however, said he and Angelica still refuse to go into details about their relationship.
Before his interview ended, he greeted Angelica on air, saying “Hi love!”
Rumors that something romantic is blossoming between John Lloyd and Angelica started after the two returned to the Philippines from Vietnam in April to shoot their scenes for the upcoming Star Magic movie “24/7 in Love.”
But it was only last August 12 when Angelica posted a collage photo on Instagram where she went public for the first time in hinting that there is something happening between her and the actor.
Angelica and John Lloyd had their first public appearance together at the Star Magic Ball last September 1, where they were even seen leaving the event hand in hand.
