Heart Evangelista finally opens up on romance with Sen. Chiz

Actress Heart Evangelista has finally opened up on her romance with Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
Where before, she merely smiled and failed to deny nor confirm their relationship, Heart now is in no denial mode and openly admits their romance.
In fact, she shrugged off reports on her age gap with senator – she is 23 and he is 42.
Heart pointed out she does not their 16-year age gap, because she “learn[s] so much [from him].”

The comely actress also said that she does not feel the pressure of being a “senator’s girlfriend” just yet, adding that “this time around, in [a] way, I’d like to keep things a bit private.”
Heart admitted that despite her busy schedule and of Senator Chiz, they find time to be with each other.
“Kung gugustuhin n’yo namang magkita, magkikita at magkikita kayo. In a relationship, you do make time for each other,” she said.
It was gathered that Heart’s family has approved her ties with the senator-lawyer from Sorsogon
Heart’s change of heart became evident after the senator admitted in a talk show with All Media Queen Kris Aquino that Heart was already his girlfriend.
Interviewed by Philippine Entertainment Portal, Heart found more time to talk about her and the Bicol senator.
 “He’s such a nice person. Seryoso siya pagdating sa mga dapat na seryosohin, pero napakasimpleng tao lang niya… Nakakatuwa kasi he’s someone that you can really look up to, kasi nakikibagay talaga siya sa iba’t ibang klase ng tao,” Heart told PEP as reported on its website.
The actress said she also found the senator’s being sincere with all kids of people unique.
“Kasi, especially he’s a politician, it’s really refreshing to see somebody like that. Minsan tahimik siya, pero napakabait niya. Nakakatuwa siya. He’s really down to earth, such a simple person as well,” she said on PEP.
The GMA Network actress also said that she is happy that her boyfriend is “very supportive” of her career.”
 “At supportive din naman ako sa trabaho niya,” she added.
This early, Heart said that she is not entertaining thoughts of entering politics.
“It’s something that I don’t think of na because I have so much that I wanted to do pa, e,” she said.
Heart tweeted about her happiness immediately after Sen. Chiz declared on television that she is his girlfriend.
“Masaya at natutuwa ako na Hindi pala ako yung klaseng Tao na mahirap mahalin and at the same time that were getting to know each other more..”[i]she wrote on Twitter.
“Something I’ve learned from the past with any relationship that’s too public, mashadong nauunahan ng intriga and so I’d like to keep this…” she said.
“…private:) thank you for all the hearts Nd smiles god bless” she added.
Heart explained why she made her admission of her ties with Senator Escudero belatedly.
“Actually, hindi naman sa hindi ko inamin,” the Kapuso actress told PEP.  
“It’s something that you should be happy about that you’re together with someone,” she said. “It’s just that ano… kumbaga, parang balato ko na lang sa akin ‘yon.”  
“Na parang for once in my life, I wanted something that I can enjoy first on my own—without announcing to the whole country na may boyfriend ako or something,” she added 
“So parang, kumbaga, in-enjoy ko muna siya na sa akin lang. Pero nang tinanong naman nga ako, hindi naman ako nag-deny na… we are together.”   Heart said.
What made her say “yes” to  Senator Chiz?
“He’s such a nice person. Seryoso siya pagdating sa mga dapat na seryosohin, pero napakasimpleng tao lang niya,” she pointed out. 
“Uhm… nakakatuwa kasi he’s someone that you can really look up to, kasi nakikibagay talaga siya sa iba’t ibang klase ng tao. And I learn so much from him,” Heart told PEP.
 Heart said she likes Chiz’ sincerity. “Siguro yung sincerity niya sa lahat ng tao… yun siguro. Kasi, especially he’s a politician, it’s really refreshing to see somebody like that.”
