It’s 3 more fights for Pacquiao!

Dream fight with Mayweather may happen in November

It’s three more fights for world boxing icon Manny Pacquiao before hanging his gloves in retirement!
Pacquiao made the stunning revelation only weeks after announcing that he was retiring after at least two more fights, including his bout with American Timothy Bradley in Las Vegas on June 9.
In his earlier statement, Pacquiao said he was thinking of retiring early in deference to the wishes of his mother, Dona Dionisia, who had asked him several times to hang up his gloves, having proven to the world everything in boxing.
Then he revealed that his son wanted him to defeat the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. before retiriing, as if hinting that the dream fight and richest fight between him and Mayweather may happean after all.
This time, Pacquiao, considered as the greatest boxer of his generation, the only seven-division champion and the only fighting congressman, disclosed upon arrival from the United States where he promoted his upcoming fight with Bradley that he sees himself going to the boxing arena two or three more times, with Mayweather Jr. probably one of them.
“I have maybe two or three more fights,” said Pacquiao, the 33-year-old pound for pound king shortly upon arrival in the country Saturday night.
The Sarangani congressman arrived with his wife Jinkee from New York via Hong Kong on board Cathay Pacific flight CX907. He went to the United States to fulfill several commitments, including endorsements deals and promoting his fight with Bradley at the MGM Grand.
He was also reportedly there to give his deposition in connection with a defamation suit against Mayweather in connection with the American boxer’s comments hinting that Pacquiao could be indulging in performance-enhancing drugs.
Pacquiao said he wants to face Mayweather in the ring and finally settle the issue of who is the best boxer between them.
“Hopefully he will fight before I retire,” he said.
Pacquiao said he is hopeful that the much-awaited fight will be slated on November this year.
Strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza, meanwhile, disclosed that Pacquiao will be the same fighter that demolished the likes of Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto when he defends his World Boxing Organization welterweight title against Timothy Bradley on June 9.
Ariza said he has spoken to Pacquiao, the latest in Los Angeles, and quoted him as saying that the Filipino boxing hero wants to start training camp a little earlier and he wants to focus on building his body and getting his power and speed again.”
Ariza said Pacquiao is ready to focus again.
