KC appeared with television host Boy Abunda in the top-rating showbiz show “The Buzz” to say goodbye to the show so that she can concentrate on her new shows in the top network ABS-CBN.
Among these shows are the “The X Factor” and the television series “Alta.”
KC is set to host the Philippine edition of the British acclaimed singing-reality search “The X Factor” and will soon grace primetime viewing with “Alta” opposite Gretchen Barretto and Angelica Panganiban.
Although she left “The Buzz,” KC  has opted to remain as a contract star of top television network ABS-CBN.
The daughter of megastar Sharon Cuneta, who left the network earlier and moved to TV5, said she will have new television projects with the network, adding that she was excited about the shows.
The beautiful actress, who is still smarting from her breakup with actor Piolo Pascual, disclosed that a lot of exciting things will happen in 2012 and she was looking for a brighter year.
“Maraming mangyayari. I’m very excited for the new me,” she said on television.
“Sa lahat ng napagdaanan natin, may new leaf, may new chapter at lahat yung tinu-turn over ko (dahil) naniniwala ako may dahilan,” KC added.
KC admitted that at some point in her career, she thought no one was there to support her.
She said that with the recent happenings in her life, she saw people who continuously pray for her happiness.
“May time na inisip ko na talagang wala na… na hindi na nila ako mahal (fans). Meron akong panibagong nakita sa mga supporters at sa mga viewers. Ngayon ko talaga naramdaman na mahal nila ako. Na adiyan parin kayo,” she said.
KC is sporting a new look and hairdo by way of looking forward to a new KC.
She said her shorter hairdo was not planned but was a spur of the moment.
She said: “Sabi nila kapag nagpagupit kayo ng ganyan ka-drastic, kailangan talagang ready kayong gawin yon at hindi talaga pinag-isipan.”
“Ang tawag ko diyan (hair) eh feelings… and pagpapagupit ng buhok ko ay emotions,” she said with glitter in her eyes.
KC stressed that she is okay now, happy and thankful for all the blessings she received in 2011.
The actress told co-host Boy Abunda that the greatest lesson she learned last past year was never think less of one’s self.
“That you should never allow anyone to step on you. You should not let anyone think less of you and bilang babae, meron kang strength na hindi mo alam o hindi mo malalaman agad-agad na meron ka at huwag mong bibitawan yon,” KC said.
