Hollywood group set to shoot  ‘The Bourne Legacy’ in Manila


The shoot of the Hollywood movie series “Bourne Legacy” in Manila is set.
This as the movie’s lead actress, Rachel Weisz, wife of actor Daniel Craig of James Bond movies, and some actors are already in Manila for the filming of the latest of the movie series.
Officials of Metro Manila led by lawyer Francis Tolentino, chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), said the movie will have some Filipino actors and actresses but he refused to name them.

Tolentino said the MMDA and police authorities are ready to extend support and assistance to the Hollywood group in filming the movie in Manila.
The movie’s lead actor Jeremy Renner is reportedly now also in Manila and reportedly billeted at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City. It was gathered that Renner flew in from Phuket, Thailand where he reportedly figure in a fight in a bar in that resort.
It was also reported that the film crew for the movie has also arrived in Manila for the project.
It was reported that the movie will as Philippine producer Lope ‘Jun’ Juban Jr.
The MMDA chief disclosed that the shooting locations of the movie will include  Ayala Avenue, Intramuros, Jones Bridge, Marikina City Market, Navotas Fishport, and the Pasay Taft Rotonda in Metro Manila, and Palawan.
In a  report by  abs-cbnnews.com, Tolentino confirmed that some Filipino celebrities will be part of the film.
“Ang alam ko po ay mayroon pong ilan tayong mga artistang makakasama din pero hindi ko pwedeng ma-disclose,” he was quoted as saying by the network.
“Lahat ng settings ay well prepared na po. Nagulat nga po ako, akala ko ngayon lang sila magpi-prepara tapos na po ang preparation at ilalabas na lang ‘yan,” he added.
Tolentino also said that the houses to be used for indoor shots are already done.
“Tahimik po pati ang mga barangay officials ay tahimik din po na tapos na pala ang mga ‘yon before the Christmas season na nakumpuni na yung mga barangay hall,” he was quoted as saying, adding that the movie’s camera crew is already in the country while a group from “Entertainment Tonight” will follow sometime soon.
Tolentino said  the MMDA and the police have formulated contingency plans for the movie.
He said  that based on the script, the movie will show the Philippines in good light.
The target worldwide playdate for “Bourne Legacy,” according to Tolentino, will be in August 2012.
