If you are in New York and New Jersey, expect them to be there for Christmas.
The two disclosed that they will celebrate Christmas for the first time as a couple in New York and New Jersey.
Actually, Zanjoe’s parents and other family members now reside in New Jersey so this means that the couple will be spending time also with the family.
Zanjoe said their plan originally was for them to be in US up to New Year, but they have to go back to Manila early because Bea has to go back to shoot a movie.
“Kasi, may sisimulang show o pelikula si Bea, samantalang ako naman, magre-resume ako for my taping for my upcoming series, ‘Alta,’ with Gretchen Barretto, KC Concepcion, Luis Manzano and Dither Ocampo,” Zanjoe said.
Zanjoe is part of the movie, “Shake, Rattle and Roll 13,” where he is in the episode which also features Maricar Reyes.He is helping promote the movie full-time, as “Shake, Rattle and Roll 13” is a Metro Manila Film Festival entry.
Bea earlier disclosed that she and Zanjoe will spend the Christmas Eve with their respective families in Manila.
She added they will fly to the United States on Christmas eve to spend some quality time with each other.
Zanjoe said the US trip is their much-deserve break from the entertainment scene. The couple said they will celebrate their nine months together in “The Big Apple.”
“Pupunta kami dun para ma-experience yung New Year sa Time Square. Ito yung bakasyon talaga namin as a couple, na i-spend namin yung holiday sa isang magandang lugar,” he said.
Zanjoe said they plan to watch Broadway shows while in New York.
He said they are expected to return to Manila on January 7 next year.
Zanjoe and Bea said they are both enjoying each other’s company but clarified that they are not ready yet to tie the knot.
Zanjoe said Bea, who is 24, is too young to settle down now.
Bea herself said she plans to settle down in the next five to 10 years.
“Masyado pang bata si Bea para pag-usapan yung mga ganun. Ayokong mag-comment about dun kasi baka mabigla naman yun pag makarinig or makabasa siya about sa ganun. Baka matakot pa yun,” Zanjoe said of his girlfriend who recently renewed her exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.
Zanjoe said he is happy and contented with his personal life and could not ask for anything more. He said he is inspired with Bea and only has good things to say about the actress.
“Ito yung panahon yung unti unti akong nagiging kumportable na i-share sa tao yung personal naming buhay. Wala naman kami dapat hindi ika-proud eh. Nakilala ko yung ugali niya eh and yung pinagdaanan niya sa buhay kaya nakaka-inspire at nakakaproud na may minamahal akong ganung babae,” he said.
Bea said Zanjoe has taught her to open up more to friends and love ones and to be more confident about herself.
“Marami akong natututunan sa kanya, ang daming revelations, ang daming discoveries sa isa’t-isa. Siya yung nakapag open up sa akin. I went out of my shell because of him,” she said.
