The words maybe shocking but televiewers heared Angeline say them during an interview with popular showbiz host Boy Abunda in his top rating ABS-CBN program “The Buzz.”
Apparently, it’s the girl who is make the first move and not the boy, something strange in the Filipino setting where the girl is supposed to be demurred.
The recording artist and “Star Power” champion maybe merely bluffing during the interview with host Boy Abunda on TV, according to respected columnist Ethel Ramos. But is she?
Or is Angeline may be is just trying to get more attention from the movie press to promote her budding showbiz career? Is she promoting her movie also with Coco?
Angeline told Boy during the interview that she doubts – sounding serious – that Coco will make a move, that’s why she announced she was making the move to pursue the actor and singer.
Ethel Ramos reported that in fairness to Coco, he has been frank and honest in interviews pointing out that he is not going after any particular girl at the moment because he does not think he is ready for love.
Coco disclosed that right now, his showbiz career is his priority.
Coco’s position is understandable, the columnist said. After all, after years of struggling, of doing indie films, he is now in demand for mainstream projects. As well as getting lead roles in primetime series.
Coco is now doing a movie, “You Light Up My Life,” with Angeline Quinto herself as his leading lady.
Next year, he is set to do a movie with popular actress and television host Kris Aquino.
Soon, too, his new series, “Walang Hanggan,” will start airing on ABS-CBN.
Coco said he is excited about his movie project because he has for his co-performers many of the best in showbiz business like Susan Roces, Helen Gamboa, Eddie Gutierrez, Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta.
In addition, young stars Julia Montes, Paulo Avelino and Melissa Ricks are also appearing with him.
With Coco Martin on the sure path to success, Angeline maybe is serious in pursuing him. Will he take the bait? Watch out for developments.
