Kris scared to love again

Presidential sister and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has admitted she is scared to love again.

Kris said she has not been lucky in love in the past, so she has decided to devote her time and love to her two children.

“Di naman ako talaga sinwerte  doon (sa love). Nakailang strikes na ako. ’Di lang ako ’yung takot. Kasi alam ko din na takot ’yung mga kapatid ko lalo na ang ate ko (I was not lucky in love. I have had many strikes. It’s not only me who’s afraid. I know my brother and specially my sisters are afraid, too),” she stressed.

She said she has been linked to actor Diether Ocampo and the rumors about them continue to persist.
But she admitted she has not seen lately.

“Honestly, I have not seen Diet in about a month. We stopped talking, he knows this, I told him ‘di kumportable ang pamilya namin kasi sobrang gwapo ka,” she said.
On Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay,  Kris said: “He’s my friend. That’s about it. Wala talaga.”

But she joked her new role as United Nations ambassadress may lead to her meeting “a special someone.”

“Feeling ko lang dahil sa United Nations may makikilala ako. Honestly don’t you think? Lahat happens for a reason… siguro meron tayong makikilala diyan na makakacontribute sa kapayapaan ng buong mundo at kapayapaan ng puso ko,”  Kris said in jest.

Kris clarified in the ABS-CBN top-rating show “The Buzz” that her brother,  President Aquino, had no part in her  appointment as  honorary ambassadress of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.

“Kasi merong mga nag-iisip na in-appoint niya (P-Noy) ’yung sarili niyang kapatid. Nanggaling talaga sa United Nations ’to, meaning sa Switzerland mismo sila ang nagpasya,” said Kris.

Kris also said she was dropping her plans to run for governor of Tarlac because of her role for two years with UNHCR.

“Inisip ko naman, imposible na hindi ko i-entertain ang thought ng pulitika sometime in the future. But sa 2013, categorical talaga because this appointment is two years.” she said.
