All’s well for Claudine and hubby Raymart

July 2, 2010 Actress Claudine Barretto, now dubbed the Kapuso Drama Queen, has denied reports that she and husband actor Raymart Santiago have differences.

“All’s well with us,” Claudine stressed. Talks had circulated that the two had a family misunderstanding after the actress was not able to attend the “GMA at 60” anniversary celebration at the Araneta Coliseum last week.

Claudine explained that she had a television shoot that day, the anniversary of her network GMA. “There’s no problem with us. If there is, we are open and immediately talk about it. There is no ‘sawa’ factor,” Claudine pointed out. A report by Glaiza Jarloc of Sun Star quoted Claudine as saying that she and husband are attending couple’s counseling every month.

“Bago pa magkaproblema o maging problema, we deal with the problem right away,” she stressed. The report stated that many were intrigued when Claudine visited the set of the primetime kantaserye of GMA-7’s Diva. According to her, she went there and made sure that ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony Fernandez was not there. The actor left the place two hours before the actress arrived in the shooting area.

Though they weren’t able to cross paths during the Diva shoot, their reunion project is still on the works, it was reported. Mark, the son of the late actor Rudy Fernandez and actress Lorna Tolentino, was reported to be a guest of the weekend drama anthology “Claudine” in the coming days.
