Luis Manzano won’t move to new house yet, Edu to start new show

Actor and television host Luis Manzano has no plans yet to move to their “old” house at Green Meadows Subdivision in Quezon City.

The house was the same house where his mother, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, stepdad, Senator Ralph Recto and brother Ryan Christian, used to stay together.

Luis actually inherited the house from his mother and he had it renovated according to his liking and taste.

While he is reportedly satisfied with the results of the renovation, Luis said he will continue to stay in the meantime at his own condo at the Ortigas Center.

His father, actor and television host Edu Manzano had asked Luis earlier if he will give up his plush condominium in Ortigas where he temporarily stays.

Luis told his father that he will have to fully furnish first his Green Meadows house before moving in.

Luis is busier than his dad these days. He has three weekly game and musical programs which his father is yet to start a new show with GMA Network.

On Saturdays, Luis hosts “Pilipinas Got Talent” with Billy Crawford and Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai delas Alas and former ABS-CBN President, Freddie Garcia, as board of jurors.

On Sundays, he performs with his fellow Kanto Boys  John Lloyd Cruz, Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford in ASAP, the weekly noontime show of ABS-CBN.

Meantime, “Who’s That Girl?,” a top-grossing movie of Luis with actress Anne Curtis to whom he is now being linked,  is still showing in theaters nationwide.

Edu Manzano will host “Family Feud” which GMA-7 is airing again.

“Family Feud” on GMA-7 was first hosted by actor Richard Gomez, then hosted by actor Dingdong Dantes.

When Edu first transferred to GMA-7, he was assigned to host a new show, “ Asar Talo.” The show was later axed reportedly due to poor rating.
