ShareThisDAGUPAN CITY – This year’s Bangus Festival will be open here on April 8, according to Mayor Benjamin Lim.
This year’s Bangus Festival chairmen are Beep Beep Tan and Alex Siapno with Councilor Brian Lim as consultant. They said the festival will open through the fluvial parade called Bangus ed Karosa.
The Bangus Festival was launched in 2002. On its second try in 2003, it set a Guinness World Record, through the Kalutan ed Dagupan, or the World’s Longest Grill.
As in the past years, there will be traditional events such as the Gilon Gilon ed Dalan (street dancing competition) on April 8, Bangus Rodeo and 101 Ways to Cook Bangus (April 29), and Kalutan ed Dalan (April 30).
