“Momma Cuisine” on life… …Pinoy style GMA TV

Johanna Mirpuri-Cook, daughter of Dr. Richard & Lillian Mirpuri (Founder, Spiritual Director & Senior Pastor of The Word of Grace Family Christian Fellowship), is the Founder/CEO of “MOMMA CUISINE”. When asked to explain what “Momma Cuisine” is all about, this is what Johanna said, “Momma Cuisine is about helping and giving busy moms the tools and skills to make great everyday meals for their families and friends. Moms are some of the busiest people out there and many want to give their families healthy, home- cooked meals but simply don’t know how. Momma Cuisine is here to help with recipes, tips and answers to their everyday meal questions. Momma Cuisine is about empowering moms to conquer their daily kitchen and meal duties. It’s not about making the fanciest meals. It’s more about getting the family around the dinner table to be together, making memories over homey food made by their “momma” that they’ll remember and crave for the rest of their lives using only a few basic techniques and simple ingredients. This is what Momma Cuisine is all about.”

Having heard of “Momma Cuisine” from some of their viewers, “Life… PINOY Style (kwentuhan, lutuan, kainan atbp!)” with Chef Ron Bilaro as host of the TV show invited Johanna to film 4 segments for showing during their 2011 spring season. “Life. . .PINOY Style” is a program about food and the lifestyles of Pinoys abroad, particularly Filipino-Americans. It showcases hardworking, enterprising, innovative and fun-loving Pinoys who inspire others. The show highlights the best of Filipino cuisine as it evolves beyond the shores of the motherland. This is a weekly 30-minute TV program encompassing food choices and preparation, entertaining and getting together, health, habits, hobbies, occupations, cultural challenges and practical issues. At the heart of each episode is the program’s essence summarized as “kwentuhan, lutuan, kainan atbp.” (conversations, cooking, eating and more). “Life…Pinoy Style”  has also been airing on GMA Life TV, the international lifestyle channel of GMA which can be accessed in Europe, Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific.
