Princess Punzalan flies in from US to do a show

Remember actress Princess Punzalan?

The daughter of the late Helen Vela and Orly Punzalan has been living in the United States with an American husband whose family name is Field.

Soon, the actress, once a wife of television host and singer Willie Revillame, will be seen on television or movies again.

This as Princess agreed to come home to play the mother of Richard Gutierrez in the “Soulmates_ episode of GMA Films Valentine offering entitled “My Valentine Girls.”

Still childless and now studying nursing in the US to keep her busy, Princess said she accepted the company’s offer because she loves acting.

“I was assured that the shooting will not take long,” she was quoted as saying by top columnist Ethel Ramos. “At isa pang dahilan kung bakit nag-decide akong gawin ang movie is because I miss acting.”

Two days na lang, tapos na kami,” she said. “Then I go back to L.A. on February 4 as I’ll resume my nursing course there. Malapit na akong matapos.”

Princess was in the country two years ago and played a “kontrabida” role in GMA 7’s series “The Last Prince,” starring Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal.

Princess was at the height of her acting career when she opted to quit showbiz to live in US with her husband, who was in the country working at the US Embassy for a time.

“Kaya ‘dito kami sa Pilipinas nagkakilala at nagpakasal,” Princess said.

Princess’ mariage to Willie Revillame has been annulled.

After Princess, Willie married Liz Almoro, daughter of Immigration Associate Commissioner Roy Almoro, but the marriage also ended in annulment.
