ShareThisPopular actor and television host Vic Sotto has announced that he and Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. will have a sequel movie together.
Vic made the statement as their first movie together, “Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote,” continue to top the box office in the Metro Manila Film Festival.
“We had also positive reviews about the movie,” the actor said in Filipino.
“Hindi maaring walang part two ito dahil masyadong maganda yung naging response ng mga nanonood, definitely may kasunod. Kung kelan yan, yun na lang ang pag-uusapan namin ni Senator Bong Revilla (It’s a must that we have a part two due to the good response of the people. Definitely, it has a sequel. As to when, that’s the only detail we are discussing with Senator Bong Revilla),” said Vic.
He added that he is overwhelmed by the response of the moviegoers and the money it brought to the box office tally.
“Sabi ko nga, parang medalya yun na pwedeng kong isabit sa career ko na nagkasama kami sa isang pelikula. Record breaking din yung naging samahan namin (As I said, it’s like a medal that could be hung on my career that we had a film together. Our teamup was also record breaking),” Vic added.
“Hindi namin alam kung san nanggaling yun, siguro talagang maganda yung nagawa namin ni Senator Bong, nagustuhan nila yung team up namin (We don’t know where it’s coming from; maybe what we made with Senator Bong was beautiful and they liked our team up).” he added.
The country’s top comedian said he and the senator-actor are happy that the audience themselves are asking for a second installment on the movie project.
