No Senate leaders change

PASAY CITY – Any change in Senate leadership is unnecessary and counter-productive, according to Sen. Loren Legarda.

Legarda said the senators are satisfied with the leadership of Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile.

”There is no such thing planning for coup. We are satisfied with the leadership of Senate President Enrile,” Legarda said when asked if there is any move to unseat Enrile following successful effort of the Senate to take the custody of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV from Camp Crame.

Legarda commended the leadership of Enrile whom she described as one of the most hardworking, brilliant men alive in the country
