Kris Aquino, James Yap are good friends again

Yes, Virginia, Kris Aquino and husband James Yap are good friends again.

But this does not mean, they are back in each other’s arms.

They are merely good friends and that’s it.

This was revealed by Kris herself after reports indicated that the couple had reportedly agreed on the partition of their conjugal property.

In fact, James was reported to have slept over at their former home, with son James Jr.

And James also appeared in the movie “Dalaw” with Kris.

Actually, James “doubled” or substituted for Diether Ocampo who was abroad at the time of the shooting of the movie and could not make it for the deadline to finish the movie.

How did James appear in the picture? 

Kris recounted how:  “Diet has a remaining scene but he’s abroad. Deadline ng movie on Dec. 10, so I asked James if he could double for Diet kasi nakatalikod naman ang shot. He said, na-miss mo na ako, ‘no? Sabi ko, hindi, likod mo lang ang hihiramin namin. He agreed.”

“Dalaw,” a horror film, could be a blockbuster like Kris’ past horror flicks, “Feng Shui” and “Sukob.”

But the talk show queen said she was not optimistic about her film topping the box office.

“I’m realistic,” she said. “Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto, then Ai Ai de las Alas, parehong may track records sa filmfests, so mag-number 3 lang kami, thank you, God,” she said.

She added: “I made my PSG’s watch ‘Dalaw’ at napasigaw sila ng ‘Oh my God’ sa takot! ‘Yung character ko rito as Stella, malalim ang approach ng characterization. It’s not a simple horror story as it’s about a mother na gustong mabuo uli ang family niya but the Dalaw wants to get all her loved ones. I’m a widow, anak ko si Maliksi Morales, 8-year-old brother ni Makisig. My abusive husband died in a violent car crash habang nag-aaway kami. I remarried, kay Diether Ocampo, and natira kami sa bahay nila na nasa likod ng sementeryo. Yaya niya si Gina Pareno na may third eye at siya ang nakakakita doon sa dumadalaw. We also have Karylle as Diet’s past girlfriend who’s a revelation here as the main contravida, Alex de Rossi and Ina Feleo as my cousins, and Empress Schuck in a role similar to that of Maja Salvador in ‘Sukob’.”

On James, Kris disclosed that their son James Jr. or Bimpy loves him so much.

She added: “Sa hiwalayan kasi, you go through stages of anger, resentment, peace, then aabot kayo sa point ng acceptance. So nandun kami ngayon. Lahat kasi ng questions about finances, na-settle na and I can see how much Bimby loves him and our son even said, friends na lang kayo. Pinaramdam din naman ni James na ready na siyang makipagkaibigan sa’kin.” 

Did Liz Uy really bust President Noynoy? 

“No, she did not,’’ was her immediate reply.

Then she added: “ My brother is 50 years old, kung anuman ang pinagdaraanan niya, sana let’s give him his privacy. He will be attending the premier night of ‘Dalaw’ at Trinoma on Dec. 19. My sisters told him to attend kasi our mom used to attend all the premieres of my movies kaya kumikita. Now that our mom is gone, siya ang kapalit na manonood sa premiere night.”
