Pacquiao won’t allow wife to enter showbiz

QUEZON CITY – The world’s boxing pound-for-pound king and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao doesn’t want his wife, Jinky, to enter the showbiz industry.

Pacquiao made the statement after news circulated that Jinky was flooded with offers to grace the boob tube.

Jinkly also said that she isn’t available for showbiz, but possibly as television host.

Pacquiao said he wanted his wife to focus on running their businesses, citing, “Ayoko syang pumasok kasi baka mapabayaan yung business namin. Bakit pa sya papasok ng showbiz? What for?”

If given a chance to join the entertainment industry, Jinky shared that she wanted to venture into hosting, according to Glaiza Jarloc in her Sun Star report.

“Kasi mahiyain ako kaya hindi ako pwede sa acting pero magpapa-alam parin ako sa boss ko,” she pointed out.
