Carefirst Home Health Services, Inc. Inauguration, Blessing and Christmas Party

Lincolnwood, IL. Friday, December 10 was a beautiful day. Despite the bitter cold weather that gripped Chicago and nearby suburbs just a few days earlier, that morning and the entire day had warmed up a bit with a flash of sunshine and sans snow.

Better than his promise, the good-looking and very accommodating Consul General Leo Herrera Lim was the first guest to come at 9:30 A.M. for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and short program scheduled at 10:00-11. As usual, Consul General Lim delivered a message befitting the occasion, emphasizing the presence of Filipinos in almost every corner of the world. He extolled the admirable work ethics of the hardworking Overseas Filipino Workers whose remittances had been the economic backbone of their country and encouraged Filipino business entrepreneurship such as the niche Filipino owned home health agencies have found.
