Ara Mina bares Pacquiao’s ‘moves’ in 2007

Like her other leading men in the past, boxing champion Manny Pacquiao also showed interest in sexy star Ara Mina while filming “Anak ng Kumander” in 2007.

This was reported by ABS-CBN, citing an interview with entertainment show “Paparazzi” in which Mina for the first time admitted Pacquiao’s “pahaging” on the set, but immediately added that she never took them seriously.

“Lahat naman yata ng leading man ay nagpapahaging…. Ang kakaiba [kay Pacquiao], kasi minsan hindi mo alam kung seryoso siya. Kunwari magte-take ako, ‘beautiful’ mga ganoon. Parang ano ba ito seryoso ba ito o ano?” she said.

According to ABS-CBN, Ara also disclosed that initially she turned down the movie project because of the storyline, but when they revised the script she eventually accepted it.

“Tinanggap na din namin kasi hindi natuloy ang isang movie ko na dapat yong year din na yon for film fest so doon nag-start,” she added.

The sexy actress assured that Pacquaio’s wife, Jinkee, has nothing to worry about her.

As for their text messages, she said: “Hindi. Siguro nagte-text lang ako kung saan yong location, kapag hindi ko ma-contact ‘yong location manager.”

Pacquiao also got involved in his other leading ladies such as Valerie Concepcion and Krista Ranillo, according to the network.

The network also reported that Ara has disclosed that she will finally give up her sexy image.

“Ang sinabi ko lang ay parang iiwanan ko na ang pagpapa-seksi. I think nagawa ko na ang dapat kong gawin before at iniiwan ko na ang trono ko sa kapatid ko. Kumbaga talagang dumarating tayo sa stage ng life natin na iba na ang gusto mong gawin,” said Ara.

The network also said that the actress quickly added that her current relationship with a wealthy non-showbiz guy has nothing to do with her decision.

“Hindi, hindi wala pong kinalaman. Bago ko pa siya ma-meet parang doon na din ako papunta,” she said.
