ShareThisActor and television host Luis Manzano has confirmed his friendship with Mariel Rodriguez is undergoing a tough test, saying they are not close as they used to be.
“May pinagbago in terms kung papaano kami sa isa’t-isa, may pagbabago pero hindi natin maiiwasan yun,” he was quoted as saying in a Sunstar report by Glaiza Jarloc.

“May mga nabasa ako online na siguro half truth, half lie, pero may accurate dun sa mga nabasa ko,” he added.
The son of top star Vilma Santos, now governor of Batangas, and actor-television host Edu Manzano disclosed that he has not talked to action star-turned television host Robin Padilla, now the admitted husband of Mariel, to discuss the matter.
“It never happened and there’s no such thing as a phone conversation,” Luis added, referring to his reported talk with Robin.
“May lumabas kasi na issue na tumawag daw sa akin si Binoy na medyo confrontational daw yung pag-uusap. Never nangyari yun,” he pointed out.
Luis refused to reveal the reason of his misunderstanding with Mariel, saying he believed he was not in the position to talk about it in public.
