Singing sensation Charice Pempengco is thankful to all Filipinos who tuned-in to watch the Season 2 premiere of the hit American series, “Glee”.
Charice played Sunshine Corazon, a foreign exchange student who possesses a commendable talent in singing, in the show.
During the first airing of her show, Charice tweeted on the micro-blogging site Twitter how overwhelmed she was when she received good words from her kababayans.
“Thank you to all my kababayan! Mahal ko po kayong lahat. Chasters!! Thank you so much for everything. Thank you lovely people. I love y’all,” she said in her tweet.
She also thanked all those who were there when she was starting her career, which includes America’s most influential television personality Oprah, television host Ellen de Generes, David Foster, Lisa Erspamer, and Celine Dion.
Charice will be back in Manila this October for her Araneta Coliseum concert on the 23rd with David Foster, Natalie Cole and others.
