Queenie Padilla wants parents to be friends

Cool. Understand each other. Be friends.
This maybe the gist of a wish of up and coming actress Quennie Padilla about the relationship of her father, the action star Robin Padilla, and mother Liezl Sycangco who is based in Australia.
Robin and Liezl had separated legally with Liezl remarrying while Robin is being linked to actress and television host Mariel Rodriguez.

“Sana po maayos niyo na po,” said the young actress with tears in her eyes, in an interview on “The Buzz,” Sept. 12.
Robin and Liezl figured in a word war when the latter cried foul in interviews about the former’s lack of time for his children; particularly for his youngest son, Alih, because of the actor’s heavy workload and newfound love in Mariel Rodriguez.
In the heat of their spat, Liezl asked Robin to return Alih to her care, which the actor agreed to do.
Queenie is apparently affected by the situation. Despite that, she has an advice for kids who are in the same boat like her.
“Be strong and try to understand both their sides,” she said.
Queenie said she thought it’s best for his little brother to return to Australia, where Liezl lives with her second husband, according to Rowena Sanchez in her Manila Bulletin report.
“Si Alih, 10 years old lang po. Talagang kailangan niya ng guidance every day, every second of his life dahil maliit pa po siya, ‘di katulad namin ni Kylie (her younger sister)… may edad na kami at may sariling pag-iisip na kami. I think it’s best for him to go to Australia. Kasi ang mommy ko, she has all the time in the world for him. She’s not doing that much in Australia so she can take care of him properly,” Queenie told “Showbiz News Ngayon” over ABS-CBN Network.
In other news, Queenie admitted on “The Buzz” that she is closer than ever with her “Momay” leading man Ejay Falcon. “Siya po ‘yung pinaka-close na lalaki sa puso ko…” she quipped.
Asked if he’s courting her, Queenie said he makes her feel “like a queen.”
“‘Yung pag-aalaga niya sa’kin, iba. Hindi ko alam!” she said.
